Symposium Venue
The opening reception will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm the University of Waterloo University Club.
The symposium will be held on the University of Waterloo campus in room 1015 of the Centre for Environmental and Information Technology (EIT). Although we encourage you to walk to campus, some parking is available.
The conference banquet will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery. It is located on 25 Caroline Street North. A menu is available (you will be asked to specify your preference when registering for the symposium).
Symposium Accommodation
Symposium accommodations are available at Waterloo College Hall on the Wilfred Laurier University campus. Waterloo College Hall is located at 88 Seagram Drive and is within walking distance of all symposium venues.
College Hall is air-conditioned and guests have access to wireless Internet. Each room contains a single bed, sink, desk and closet unit. Linens, towels, soap and a cup are provided. Common lounges with a fridge and stove are available on each floor. Parking in designated lots is complimentary.
Rates
A private bedroom with a semi-private washroom is $45.00 per person per night, plus 13% HST.
A private bedroom with a private washroom is $65.00 per person per night, plus 13% HST.

Check-in — At the main lobby of the residence
Late check-in — If arriving after 11:00pm, please email conferences@wlu.ca or call (519) 884-0710, x3958 in advance to notify staff that a late check-in will be required.
Cancellation Policy — To cancel a registration, participants must send an email to conferences@wlu.ca.
- On or before Sunday, July 17th, a $25.00 administrative fee applies.
- Between Monday, July 18th and Thursday, July 21st, a 50% refund will be provided.
- On or after Friday, July 22nd, no refunds will be provided.

Traveling to Waterloo
From Region of Waterloo Interational Airport (YKF), Waterloo
If you are able to get a flight into Waterloo, the University of Waterloo and Waterloo College Hall are both reachable by taxi from the airport. Click here for more information.
From Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Toronto
New (3 Jun): We've put up a wiki to help people coordinate rides from/to Pearson Airport.
Shuttle — Airways Transit provides a shuttle service, which must be booked in advance. New: We have arranged a special conference rate of $61 per person (one way).
Sedan — Boulevard Limousine provides a private car service that is quick and convenient. If you are in a group of 3, this may be cheaper than the shuttle. This must be booked ahead of time as well.
Taxi returning to YYZ — When returning from Waterloo to YYZ, Waterloo Taxi has a flat rate of $90 for a car, which can take up to 4 people (assuming your luggage all fits).
Returning to YYZ — Note that if you are flying from YYZ to a US destination, you will be going though US Customs and Immigration in Toronto. Be sure to leave extra time for that: arrive at YYZ at least 2–3 hours before your flight.
