Venue and Introduction

Registration for the research workshop is €75 and includes

• Welcome reception on Sunday, May 29 in the evening

• Proceedings

• The workshop sessions

• Lunch and dinner, May 30 - June 1 (except no dinner on June 1)

• (Breakfast is normally included with accommodations in Croatia)

We also anticipate

• a group excursion to Dubrovnik

• an informal hike on Thursday, June 2.  Bring sturdy shoes and protection from the sun.

Registration was formally closed on May 20.   Registrations may still be possible, but you may have trouble finding a hotel room, as they are no longer guaranteed.  Follow this link to try to register for the workshop anyway. 

The research workshop will take place at the "five-star" Hotel Croatia in Cavtat.  We will be using the Congress Hall Ragusa.  We anticipate that most workshop attendees will want to stay at the workshop hotel.  However, there are a couple of alternatives available as well.  Here is the full list:

• Hotel Croatia (workshop venue)  €108-123 for a single.  Guest room reservations at the Hotel Croatia are made through the main workshop registration system (see the link above).  When filling out the forms you'll see a choice of rooms: single, double, "no room needed", etc.  You'll pay the hotel in person later.

• Cavtat Iberostar (another hotel) €58 plus tourist tax for a single

• Villa Cavtat (B&B / Pension)  €11-13 for a single

The workshop venue has some rooms reserved for us, but the alternative locations have not.  It is said to be hard to get a room in June, so make your reservations quickly if you want to stay at an alternative location.
